Coastal Skipper Certification

It qualifies the skipper, who is responsible for the safety of his/her vessel and crew, to charter vessels for cruising in coastal areas where navigational hazards exist, in daylight, with good visibility, in wind speeds up to 25 knots.

The theory portion of the Coastal Navigation Standard is a pre-requisite for this standard
